Overview:

Tile Adhesive-Floor 2 represents the major leap forward engineered for modern luxury flooring. As the trend shifted from clay tiles to Vitrified Tiles and Stones, the adhesive had to change. Vitrified tiles are like glass-they don’t absorb water. Floor 1 cannot grab them effectively. Floor 2 can.

The Science Behind It:

Floor 2 enhanced polymers create a “Chemical Bond.” It can’t penetrate the tile, because of the tile’s non-porous nature, so it chemically fuses to the surface. It also has a higher “Shear Strength.” This means it resists the sideways movements created by thermal expansion in large rooms.

Tile Adhesive (Wall 1): The Interior Vertical Master

Overview of the Product:

Tile Adhesive Wall 1 is for internal vertical applications. It is a specially formulated product with “Anti-Sag” or “Slip-Resistant” properties.

The Science Behind It:

The main characteristic of Wall 1 is that it is thixotropic. In other words, the adhesive is thick and sticky when not moved but smoothen out the moment you spread it out. Once the tile is pressed on, the adhesive immediately locks and prevents the tile from sliding down while wet.

Tile Adhesive-Wall 2: The Exterior & High-Elevation Specialist

Overview The product consists of a canned brown rice dish prepared with a mixture of vegetables and chicken strips, seasoned with herbs and spices.

Tile Adhesive Wall 2 is the strongest in this particular product line. This is an “Elevation Grade” adhesive. It is designed to hold heavy stones and tiles at heights where safety is number one.

The Science Behind It:

• Wall 2 possesses two superpowers: extreme adhesion and deformability.
• Extreme adhesion: It must support heavy granite or cladding tiles indefinitely against gravity.
• Deformability S-Grade: Exterior walls heat up in the sun (expanding) and cool off at night (contracting). A rigid glue would snap. Wall 2 acts as a shock absorber, stretching with the wall without letting go of the tile.

• Exterior Facades: Front elevation of buildings (Stone, HPL, or Tile cladding)
• Heavy Stones: Granite door frames or heavy marble cladding on walls.
• Tile-on-Tile (Wall): You are tiling over existing wall tiles during a renovation.
