TA – G400 [T4] Tile Adhesive
TA – G400 [T4] is an elite-grade, highly deformable adhesive engineered for the most challenging installation environments. It is a high-polymer modified formula designed to bond tiles and stones to “difficult” substrates that are subject to vibration or deflection, such as gypsum boards, plywood, and metal surfaces. With superior shear strength and elasticity, TA – G400 acts as a shock absorber between the substrate and the tile.

Areas of Implementation
- Drywall Systems: Direct bonding to Gypsum boards, Fiber Cement boards, and Bison panels.
- Wooden Substrates: Plywood, Chipboard, and Marine Ply (internal areas).
- Metal Surfaces: Primed Iron, Steel, or Aluminum surfaces.
- Mega Formats: Engineered stone, thin porcelain slabs (3mm/6mm), and heavy natural stones on ceilings or high-rise facades.
- High Vibration Areas: Lift lobbies, industrial floors, and railway platforms.
Key Features & Benefits
Highly Deformable (S2): Can accommodate structural movement and deflection > 5mm.
Multi-Substrate: Bonds to almost any building material (Wood, Metal, Gypsum).
Ultimate Hold: High shear strength prevents debonding even under heavy loads.
Shock & Impact Resistant: Ideal for areas with heavy machinery or foot traffic.

| 40 kg | 6 mm – 8 mm | 10mm x 10mm | 50 to 60 Sq. Feet |
Limitations & Restrictions
- Substrate Stability: While T4 is designed for deformable substrates, the surface (plywood or metal) must be securely fixed and structurally sound. It cannot compensate for substrates that are loosely installed or have excessive deflection/bounce.
- Wooden Substrates: Plywood or chipboard must be Marine Grade (WBP) and free from moisture damage. The wood needs to be conditioned to the room temperature before tiling to prevent warping.
- Metal Surfaces: Metal substrates must be free from rust, grease, oil, and flaking paint. Smooth metal surfaces may require mechanical abrasion (sanding) or a specific primer before application.
